I think my boss is mad at me for being sick…..

He prefers when I call the night before if I’ll be sick (which I don’t understand how he expects me to predict the state of my being the next day BUT I took a shot at it)

My prediction was that I would be sick so I called him and said I couldn’t make it for Wednesday.

Today it’s like 10 times worse, so I called in sick for tomorrow.

My boss. “What happened to you?” 

Me: I have a really bad cold……(voice barely coming out straight CLEARLY catches in my throat and I’m trying not to cough since that always makes it sound fake)

My boss: kay……… Bye…..(exasperated tone)

I hang up like
